Gaia brings Vietnam SDI and Microsoft Virtual Earth together

(I meant to post this a few weeks ago, sorry for the delay - Jeff)

We're pleased to report that Gaia 3 is helping Vietnam's Information Center of Natural Resources and Environment (CIRENet) bring SDI content together - especially WMS and Microsoft Virtual Earth.

The CIREN map service is based on OGC WMS and provides a way to view free spatial data from Vietnam and the international community.

This paper guides folks how to combine "Vietnam map online" with satellite images from Microsoft Virtual Earth and Yahoo! Maps using Gaia.

Gaia 3 was developed with CarbonTools PRO, an extension to Microsoft .NET Framework that supports advanced location content handling, mapping and sharing. Software developers can get the Gaia 3 source code by purchasing CarbonTools PRO.
